2. Description of the Service

Tickr is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that enables event organizers to create events, sell tickets, process payments through Stripe, and validate tickets using QR-codes. Tickr is not an event organizer. Organizers are solely responsible for their events, ticket sales, and communication with buyers.

3. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You must have the legal capacity to enter into contracts.
  • You must use Tickr only for lawful purposes.
  • You must provide accurate information during registration.

4. Account Registration & Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and all activities occurring under your account. You agree not to share your account with others and to immediately notify us of any unauthorized access.

5. Subscriptions & Pricing & VAT

Tickr offers subscription plans with different features and fees. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, all subscription prices displayed on our website are exclusive of VAT. Applicable VAT will be calculated and added during checkout based on the customer's location and tax status, in accordance with EU VAT rules.

For business customers within the EU who provide a valid VAT ID, the reverse charge mechanism may apply where legally permitted.

Cancellation of a subscription becomes effective at the end of the current billing period ("cancel at period end"). You remain responsible for all charges incurred up to the effective cancellation date.

6. Ticket Transactions & Stripe Connect

Organizers must connect a Stripe Connect account to receive ticket revenue. Tickr is not responsible for payout delays, account freezes, or other issues caused by Stripe. All financial transactions between organizers and ticket buyers are handled exclusively by Stripe.

7. Tickr's Role

Tickr is not:

  • An event organizer
  • A seller of tickets
  • Responsible for event quality, safety, or cancellation
  • A party to the contract between organizers and buyers

All disputes must be resolved between organizers and buyers directly.

8. Refunds

Tickr does not provide refunds for subscriptions, tickets, or processing fees. Event organizers must handle ticket refunds directly through Stripe.

9. No Right of Withdrawal

By subscribing to Tickr, you request immediate access to a digital service and therefore waive your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, where applicable.

10. Organizer Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate event information
  • Ensure events comply with local laws
  • Handle ticket buyer communication
  • Correctly scan and validate QR codes
  • Resolve disputes with buyers

Accuracy of Event Information
All event descriptions, dates, prices, and other details are provided solely by the Organizer. Tickr does not review, verify, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or correctness of any event information. Tickr is not responsible for typographical errors, incorrect event data, mispriced tickets, or outdated information supplied by Organizers. Any claims or disputes relating to inaccurate information must be resolved directly between the Organizer and the ticket buyer.

11. Ticket Buyer Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate contact data
  • Store and protect the ticket QR code
  • Not share or duplicate the QR code
  • Follow instructions of the organizer at the event

12. Availability of Service

Tickr is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free functionality, or data availability. Maintenance and downtime may occur at any time.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tickr is not liable for lost revenue, payment problems caused by Stripe, event cancellations, QR-code scanning errors, indirect damages, or any consequences arising from the use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the subscription fees paid in the last 12 months.

14. Stripe Disclaimer

Stripe is a third-party payment provider. Tickr is not responsible for Stripe account decisions, payout delays, fraud checks, chargebacks, or withheld funds.

15. Prohibited Activities

  • Creating fraudulent or illegal events
  • Selling fake tickets
  • Misusing Stripe Connect
  • Attempting to hack or disrupt the platform
  • Uploading harmful or unauthorized content

16. Intellectual Property

All software, code, branding, design, logos, and content on Tickr are the exclusive property of Tickr and may not be copied, modified, or distributed without prior written consent.

17. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

18. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, fraud, misuse, or if required by law or Stripe. Organizers remain responsible for their events and obligations even after termination.
